Testimonials

Music is an abstract thing, and I often find it hard to find concrete motivation, but learning how the industry worked in a very real way was super inspiring and it allowed me to look forward to it all instead of being intimidated. It was also so wonderful to have a small enough group that we could get to know each other individually and talk about our plans and dreams.

I really enjoyed the Bridge and Wolak Music Mentorship Program. I never realized how important it was for touring classical musicians to have a comprehensive understanding of business. I loved the discussions on recital/performance themes and titles, and I’m looking forward to preparing a program highlighting music written by female composers! I learned a lot of very insightful things that I can’t wait to use in the future!
— Hadija
Bridge and Wolak gave a really comprehensive almost “walkthrough” on how to get started in the music performance industry. They gave a behind the scenes look at what it takes to make performances happen. It was a real eye opener to see what makes music possible outside of the obvious training behind making a musician. Business and social skills play a significant role in getting yourself established successfully.

F.A.Q.

Are the classes recorded?

Our meetings on Zoom (where students can chat with other classmates and the instructors) are not recorded. The course includes some pre-recorded content (on-stage interviews) which are livestreamed during the Zoom meetings.

What happens if I miss a class?

Since all of the lectures are pre-recorded, students are able to watch them later if they miss the livestream. At this time students are not able to make up if they miss the live group discussion. If a student is interested in one-on-one guidance, they can book coaching here.

Is this course suitable for beginners?

Our course content is suitable for viewers of all levels - however in the live stream sessions we do explore some parts of the music industry that a beginner may find advanced. If you are interested in access to our course content only - please contact us for pricing and availability.

I’m camera shy, do I have to participate with the camera on?

We encourage all of our students to join the discussions with their cameras on for the session’s duration. Having cameras on helps facilitate easier discussion amongst the class and helps build community with the group. This is a great opportunity to begin networking with your fellow classmates! We provide breaks throughout the sessions to give students a chance to step away from their computers.

Can I fast-track the program?

We encourage students to follow along with the schedule we’ve provided to be ready for the live stream sessions as a group. If you’re interested in accessing our course content only, please contact us for pricing and availability.

What time zone are these events hosted in?

The live stream sessions are listed in EST, but we provide multiple options convenient for students across the Americas and Europe.

I can’t commit to the program. Do you offer coaching sessions?

If you’re unable to attend the course or are interested in more one-on-one guidance and coaching, you can book sessions with us coaching here.
